John E. & Marva M. Warnock Engineering Building

Serving as a central hub for engineering education and innovation at the University of Utah, the Warnock Engineering Building provides state-of-the-art teaching, research, and collaboration spaces for students and faculty. The facility includes four auditorium-style classrooms, five seminar rooms, 13 group study rooms, and a variety of informal gathering and study areas designed to foster interaction and discovery.
The building is home to the Scientific Computing and Imaging (SCI) Institute, a nationally recognized center dedicated to advancing computational research and developing innovative technologies and tools. At its core is the Michael O. Leavitt Student Learning Center, which brings together computer-based classrooms, teaching laboratories, study spaces, and a café to create a vibrant academic environment that supports both formal instruction and collaborative learning.
Designed to encourage interdisciplinary engagement and student success, the Warnock Engineering Building serves as a dynamic center for education, research, and innovation within the College of Engineering.
