Weber County Library Ogden Valley Branch

Huntsville, Utah

Originally completed in 1995, the Ogden Valley Branch Library and David Eccles Community Center were renovated by Muir Architects in 2022 to enhance functionality and expand community use. The library houses approximately 45,000 items, two public computer centers, and an art gallery with exhibit space for local artists.

As part of the renovation, Muir Architects introduced an outdoor garden and presentation area designed to support community events, including a BBQ, outdoor prep kitchen, and flexible seating areas anchored by a sculptural focal point. An interior gate, designed by prominent metal sculptor Richard Johnson, allows the library to be secured while adjacent community spaces remain accessible for after-hours use.
